JUST FYI to anyone needing to know. The address that these people provide is to the US Attorney's office. And don't let them tell you that their address is 219 S Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL. This is not their office. If you google this address it belongs to the Attorneys office. I also called a true Law office on this street and they had never heard of Baker & Sims. If this helps anyone.

I think the vernacular in legal terminology is "sewer service."

Attorney General Cuomo in New York filed criminal charges some time ago "against Long Island-based American Legal Process (“ALP”) and its CEO and President William Singler for a fraudulent business scheme in which the company allegedly failed to provide proper legal notification to thousands of New Yorkers facing debt-related lawsuits, causing them unknowingly to default and have costly judgments entered against them without the chance to respond or defend themselves."

Also, "Cuomo announced his intent to sue one of ALP’s largest customers, the law firm of Forster & Garbus, for violations of New York State’s consumer protection laws. According to Cuomo, Forster & Garbus used ALP to serve over 28,000 summons and complaints across the state, but failed to supervise the company and relied on legal papers from ALP that it knew or should have known were false."

Those were the exact cases I was thinking of when I made my comment.

You must be one of the scammers.  You cannot be arrested for owing a debt in the good ol' US of A.  It is a civil matter and not a criminal one.

I recieved the same call from that number and I havre reported them to Attoney General office for action
