Some man with a hard Indian accent called my girlfriend in E Tennessee yesterday, acting like he represented the IRS and threatened her with Jail if she didn't pay a $3,000.00 fine and penalty...
(NOTE: no way to edit my previous post... The guy  called my girlfriend on her telephone, his # was: Caller's number was: 312-620-1886)  NOT A  FAX

I got a call from this number 312-620-1886 but I din't pick up and a man left a voicemail saying he's calling from the IRS.

An electronic voice said that the IRS filed a lawsuit aginst me.  A warrant was issued in my name so contact them ASAP.
This is a scam.  Bull [***]!
“Scam artists specialize in being deceptive and fooling people. The IRS urges taxpayers to be extra cautious and think twice before answering suspicious phone calls, emails or letters.” ... They even go as far as copying official IRS letterhead for use in email or regular mail.
