I get calls from this number and a thousand more with the same opening line "I am from the Civil Procedures Division".  When you ask them from which state or country is this Civil Division Division they won't tell you.  They say where their "office" is located.  Wrong.  He got really hateful with me and I told him that I was recording the call for my district attorney's office because they will not identify anything except to give you a number to call with a "case number" and tell you they are going to serve papers the next day if you don't call.  Well you can wait at home all day but it doesn't matter.  If they serve paper, it HAS to come through my sheriff's office.  He started yelling at me that he did not give me permission to record the call.  I yelled back and told him I didn't give him permission to call me either.  He was infuriated and talked over me and hung up on me.  I also had one hang up yesterday I think.  This bunch calls so much.  It needs to be stopped and if anyone knows how to stop it, please post it here.

I got the same call. Asking if someone will be here to serve me with papers tomorrow. I called back and I have been on hold forever. Have they actually served anyone?

I got the same call from the same number telling me that there are legal documents that will be srved tomorrow and wanted to make sure somebody will be there to receive them. I asked what address you have for the delivery they did not tell me. I asked what name they are delivering to They gave me my name. I told them you got the wrong number they said thank you and hang up.

Got a call again just now.  They have no clue what my name is.  They call me anything but my name.  I am SO sick of these calls and I don't understand how the scam is allowed to continue.  I have blocked them right now but AT&T only allows 5 blocks and they call from so many numbers.

This basically a 3rd party debt collector trying to get some kind of money.  Basically if they say you owe 1k they would be happy to collect 300-500.  I [***] with them all the time and it has been going on for 7 yrs.  Thing is I get like 3 different companies trying to scam me.  I give them a fake debit card info and they'll call back and say it didn't go through. lol  I said send me the bill and I can send a check but tehey never send a bill.
