for people who think:
The Do Not Call list is a joke, orThe DNC list does not work, orThe DNC list is run by incompetents, orThe DNC sucks
Try to understand this:
LEGITIMATE telemarketers obey the Do Not Call regulations

So, if you got a call from a supposed telemarketer, and if you are registered on the DNC list, what does that tell you?

Hint:
Can you spell "scammer"?

Hint #2 (if you need it)
Can you spell "criminal"?

What else should you know?
The DNC List is NOT a call blocker!  It is not a magic switch that intercepts calls to your phones!

If you want to reduce calls from scammers, or prevent second calls from these criminals, get a real call blocker.  Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

Caller ID noted: ILLINOIS ... # not familiar ... not answered. Found over time that with very few exceptions, i.e.: 'WIRELESS CALLER' friends that I recognize by #, the caller ID system does a decent job.
