Answered the call and it was an automated system with information on my kid's state testing schedule in their school.  We live in CA, so I have no idea why the call comes from a Chicago phone number.  Hope it helps.

i just got a call right now from this number. it rang once and i answered it, but they hung up. i called back, but no answer. at the end it says that lines are temporarily busy. bs.

the call you are receiving is from a school in California. Actually Los Angeles, the other number the automated dialer uses is 213-412-1170. Apparently this is from Maple elementary School. If this is the school your child goes I would like to be able to call the principal and give them a piece of my mind. I'm on the east coast and this miserable calls are most annoying. I've looked the phone number up on the inter net and have discovered several people are getting the same calls. apparently the principal went to great lenghts to use an automated dialing system. Thing is I don't have children and I'm 2600 miles from  California.
