Got a call from this number. When I answered, they hung up. What's the deal?

Just got a call from this number and no voicemail was left. Was away from my phone and it only rang 2-3 times. Didn't recognize the number, but got family there. Wasnt important or else a voicemail would've been left.. oh well.
