This is apparently a number for Second City Records; a record label based in the Chicago/Dekalb area. One Dave Soto claims to be representing Second City Records.

This is a Scam.

I have looked up their address and their is no building or address that matches 2583 Sycamore Road. Suite 25
Chicago, IL 60601.
please do your research before signing a contract and giving them $1000.

think about it, we get alot of mail, and we dont want all the walk ins, if you go to the address stated you will see it is a mail location.

scam? the $1000 was optional to save you agaist company buy back if you couldnt sell your minimum of cd sales.

Do your research before slandering openly on the web, its an easy way to land your self in a court room.

This is in fact a scam. You will recieve a vauge general e-mail and contact one "Dave Soto" Of what is allegedly "second city records" As mentioned above, after researching the address, Nothing is found.

Better off deleting the e-mail and moving on. Beware.
