I just got a text from a tommy acher asking the same thing. What does "he" really want? I would love the job, but whenever there is bad grammar or a weird comment like "I'll be looking forward to read from you with your full name"  I get suspicious. Glad I decided to Google him before I replied.
so what is the scam? What would have happened if I had replied?

Got the same message. Apparently he is "heard impaired" and can only do texts or emails. It feels like its leading to a scam. I did reply and he was persistent in sending me a generous down payment for this so-called family reunion. Also wanted to send me extra money via credit card so I can pay the event planner for him since the event planner only takes cash. Red flags all over this! Be careful!

Yes I also got this message from him Text and email saying he has Lung Cancer and is in ICU
wanted to hire us, but said if we take credit cards. I looked the number up and I see you post
definitely a scam! he wanted us to pay some plumber in cash when we use his Credit Card because the
plumber only excepts cash. I think he's a credit card Fraud.

Got text from this number saying it was "Ruse Miller" and they were hearing impaired.  Wanted to hire me to shoot a family reunion in September, asked if I accepted credit cards.  I did not reply and looked up the number.
