I like A.-Nonie-Mouse's suggestion and must try it to see how it works out. If they are going to keep calling me, I can try to have some fun with it. Maybe I'll tell them I have severe diabetes and need three of everything they've got but I'll answer on one of my cordless phones with a terribly weak battery which I'm told makes it sound as if I'm underwater when I speak.

I've had several diabetes related telemarketers call me over the last 3 years from different numbers. I don't know if they're the same company or just ignore the national DoNotCall database. I don't have diabetes but if I did and needed supplies, I would call somewhere or shop somewhere to get the supplies without needing them to call me, invade my privacy, violate the DoNotCall Registry. Doctors and medical facilities are prohibited from divulging medical records without written permission and I wonder if they randomly call numbers or look up relatives of their clients as a prospective candidate for diabetes. Why would I do business with people like that?  My new name will be Phil McCracken and my address will be Arlington National Cemetary's address. I'll take ten of everything they sell if they overnight it. My credit card will be a 30 digit Visa card issued by The Pisov Bank.

Got a call 2/25/13.  I have caller ID so I answered because it showed Merryl Lynch on the ID.   They are not what is showed on the ID.  He said he was American Benefits Program, and was asking for anyone in house who has diabetes.  When I asked him if he was associated to Merryl Lynch he said no and the call was cut.

They have been calling me for months. I have answered the call a few times, and told them that no one in my house has diabetes and to take me off the list. I still continue to get calls from them weekly. Very frustrating.

Next time they call, have a little fun with them.  Tell them you are sorry they have diabetes and tell them to contact the American Diabetes Association for help.  Then say, oh, I'm sorry.  I have ADD and I didn't get what you said to me.  The response to all of their questions should be, I forgot.  Wait a minute.  What did you ask me?
