I have gone to removemyfaxnumber, only to be told it cannot be found. I called 877-284-7885, told to enter the pin number, I did and the person on the other end said they did not understand the message. Is this a scam?

I called 877-284-7885 on 11-13-14 and thought I was removing my fax number from their database. The computer lady said it would take up to two days for our fax number to be removed. But today on 2-5-15, I get the same fax again regarding a business loan. Is this not against the law if you let them know you don't want their faxes any longer and they keep sending them? Is there no recourse?
