I got a text message from this number at almost 3 am using my name, and saying they don't know if I know anyone that still smokes but that they are giving away ecigs at 123cigs.com. When I look up the number it is for a Chicago fun run and some one named Alicia is listed. I texted back who are you but have gotten no response yet.

I got the same text message as chickymadoodle, using my name as well, at 4:49 am.  How do we make these stop?

This is Alicia Gonzalez, the Executive Director of Chicago Run, a non-profit that provides free running programs to Chicago Public School students.  This number has not belonged to the organization in a couple of months and we have not been sending these text messages.  The police are now involved and we will hopefully have this resolved.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention and we apologize for any inconvenience, but we can assure you that it is not Chicago Run sending these texts.

Chicky...I spoke with Alicia at Chicago Run and this is NOT their phone #.  They haven't had this phone # for over a year.  They are a non-profit organization for children.  Alicia called T-Mobile & unfortunately, they won't tell her who has the phone # now.  The police cannot do anything about it either.  I went to reversenumberdatabase.com & filed a complain of being harrassed by this #.  I also re-registered on the Do Not Call Registry.  I don't know if this will do any good, but fingers crossed.
