This lawyer/collection agency suddenly calls my last known phone number which is my parents house to tell me about a debt from the city colleges of Chicago from 13 years ago. Trying to get me to give them payment info. Saying there is no statue of limitations. Its not a student loan, its from tuition that went unpaid after I dropped a class. 13 years & not a letter or phone call from the college now all of a sudden this. it gets better, this agency ran a copy of my credit report recently. the guy at this lawfirm Frank Clark says the college must've reported it. I said no , its coming up as your firm running my report. he denied it. I said sir, I have it right here, your firm ran it...nothing is showing up on my report from the college. then he said, well maybe we did but a long time ago, I said no this was in the last month. This is a big fraud of shady low lifes going through people very old debt in attempt to try to collect so they can get a piece of the money. beware!
