They called my work, caller ID came up with US Cellular then this number 312-348-7005, wanted to speak to the owner about an investigation.  I told them the owner is never here and he hung up.  They don't identify themselves and are pushy. Definitely a scam.

My dad received a call from this number tonight stating that his card had been shut down and if he wanted to reopen it, to type in his info. My dad hung up on them, my mom and I called the lost or stolen dept on the back of the card and they said this is a scam that they just noticed this morning. I looked it up on whitepages and it also states that it is out of Chicago, IL, which by the way, is far from here. :)

Just got a call and it was a VM system trying to get Credit Card information.  They said my account was deactivated due to fraud and wanted me to key in all my credit card information. Hope no one falls for this scam.

Got a call from this number at 3pm PST in Arizona on my Verizon cell phone.  It was a computer voice that told me that my debit card (did not say which or from what company) had been disabled due to suspicious activity.  Then said "To reactivate your debit card please press 1 to be transferred to the card security department".  I pressed 1.  I expected a human voice to answer, but it was the same computer voice which then asked me to please enter my debit card number,  knew it was a scam and hung up.

It sounds like a large scale automated scam to steal credit card info,  and I know A LOT of people are going to fall for it.    FBI needs to shut this scam down... looks like its been going on for a long time, based on comments here.
