Who is passing on our phone numbers to this company? I recently signed up for the NY Times? Any other ideas?

Got call from this number today. Missed the call. They left no message.
Called back, it is recording of someone's customer service for a marketing company.
May be real estate oriented.

I answered a call from this number today. It was a recording telling me that if I allow them (didn't give a company name) to place a small sign in my yard, they would install a security system in my home for free.

Called my cell phone numerous times offering 'free' home security service' w/sign in yard. Offered ACD options to talk to rep or opt off the call list. Opted off twice. Third time selected rep option and let loose with both barrels. will see if it works
