It is the parent company for my local newspaper, The Southern Illinoisan.  This paper circulates out of Carbondale, IL, but is owned by a company Lee Enterprises, with offices in the Chicago, IL area.  Having received the same number on my caller ID, I called and got the "circulation dept."  They call people to solicit subscriptions to the newspaper.  I won't subscribe, just because of these annoying calls.

They call and they do not leave a message.  When I return their call, I get a recording saying "you have reached circulation development inc. newspaper marketing specialists" and to call during normal business hours.
