My wife's two brothers got a call from this number saying they were representing Citibank and attempting to collect $2000.00 on an outstanding credit card in my wife's name. They claimed there was a summons in her name, and she'd have to appear in court, UNLESS she paid the balance ASAP. Overall, they sounded very threatening.

BUT, my wife never had such a card! This is a TOTAL Scam! I called back and the only thing the person who answered kept saying is, "What's the case number?" After pressing the person for some identification, they hung up! So if you get a similar call from 312-265-4627, just ignore it. Although I am considering reporting the incident to NYPD.

THEY CALLED ME ON THE 26 OF MAY SAYING THAT I HAD A BILL FROM 2002 FROM CITY BANK. GAVE ME SOME KIND OF S,S, NUMBER, TOLD THEM NOT MY NUMBER. ALL SO SAID SOME ONE WILL BE OUT TO SERVE ME AND IF THEY COULD NOT FIND ME SOME ONE WILL COME AFTER ME I TOLD THEM I WOULD NOT BE HOME ASK THEM WHY CITY BANK DID NOT SEND ME ANYTHING THEY SAID THEY DID NOT DO THAT ,THAT'S WHEN I NEW SOMETHIN WAS WRONG. DONT GAVE THEM ANYTHING,

Called and stated I owed $11K from a Citi Mastercard from Nov 2001 through 2005.  I believe this card was part of a chapter 7 case that was discahrged in November 2001.  These people had my full social security #, and all my prior addresses.  I called them and asked them for a physical address, and the male on the other end became beligerent and threatening.  This scam needs to be shut down HARD.  I have submitted a formal complaint through Air Force OSI, as well as IC3.gov.  Please let me know if I can help in any investigation to shut them down.

I had a call from the same number.. left a message that was the same way, real obnoxious talking about civil action.
I am glad I googled the number! I will take your guys advice and not pay attention to it. Maybe I should change my number. How long do they keep calling for??

The called my early this year in March and I paid them all most $700. Does anyone know who I can report this too. They said I owed money out and I would be arrest.
