I got a call from this number as well. Told me I had until 2 pm today to get them this money. She said she talked to the DA and they told her I could pay the out of court which is 2796.31 like I havethat amount of money. Then she said she wul issue a warrant for my arrest after reading as of these comments I now realize it is a scam.

These people called my husband saying he was involved in fraud and he was all freaked out but I had the same call about a week prior so I told him not to worry about it. It is all a scam and just want money but they aren't getting any of ours so first thing in the morning I am calling our police dept and making a report!

Got a call from this number 312-239-0201 they left a message and told me to call them back at 1-888-229-5566 it was a urgent matter. So i called back and they were from William Scott and Associates. Told me to give them my account info cuz i owed money to them or i was going to jail. When i asked for an address to send the money they wouldnt give me an address cuz they had to have my account number. They were all hateful to me and i got cussed out when i wouldnt give out my info to them. They have continued to call me all day and i have not answered anymore. Who are these people?

got a call from an female who said she was an investigator & she was calling about a fraud case & she also demanded my account #.  very rude & I disconnected the call & I will be forwarding this information to the attorney general.

Received a call from some woman at this number wanting my debit card information regard a financial transaction in August of 2008 in South Carolina.  Keep insisting they were from South Carolina. only problem, this is a Illinois phone number.  Only other issue was I was living in Fort Lauderdale at time of stated Transaction.  She was rude and very Unprofessional in her tactics.  Suspect William Scott and Associates are a scam operation.    They wouldn't provide any address information, only wanedt my debit card information.  I don't think so;

What rule number one.  Never give your debit card information over the phone,  Especially from an unknown source.
