Returning calls to unknown numbers is not a good idea, you have no way of knowing what might happen. Chances are you'll get a dummy number since many callers want to avoid being traced. Furthermore, you possibly risk a lofty charge for the call or getting an innocent person all while confirming your number works. Say you do get the actual caller, asking not to be called again tends to backfire on you.

Called twice, claimed I was eligable for a $15,000 loan. Robo call, also called from 312-878-5693

Received two calls at the same time today with the same message left both times
"9044 once again 312-219-9044 thank you and have a great day…”

This number alled twice within 10 minutes around 10 am. Left a garbled voicemail claiming something about "avoiding  charges"... then, " have a nice day". Don't know what it is because I didn't answer it. ID came up Chicago Il. From what Iread here it's the infamous IRS scammers? Why bother having a phone when scammers are the only calls all day everyday. Sheesh!  Thanks everyone for letting us know who these calls are. Really appreciated!
