Said he lived in Utah and was in the military bomb squad in Chicago. He wanted to buy the merchandise I was advertising on KSL Classifieds. Said he would have a truck come pick it up and he would pay via paypal. It was to be a surprise for someone. I feel quite sure this is a scam...but no proof.

He went by the name of WILLY WAYNE and also tried buying a sauna we posted on ksl. Said he would only use pay pal promised to send $2550 he wrote all the emails from "pay pal" and tricked us Into sending a $300 money gram for the shipper. Complete a SCAM!! We lost our money. He also used a dead person as the name of the shipper!

I posted a piece of jewelry for sale on KSL today. He texted me a couple of hours later. Broken English. Said he lived in Utah but currently lives in Chicago so he couldn't meet up to check it out. He said he would have the freight company pick it up as soon as I received the payment on PayPal. He said he was a PayPal verified member. Then he asked if I have a PayPal account.
I looked up his number, and found this site. SCAM.

Thanks for the info. We're in the process of texting this guy who claims he wants to buy a motorcycle. Now I've been having fun with him after he claims he lives in Texas but can't come see the item located in Chicago: "I'm sure you're working, but I'm just so lonely! After you buy the bike, can we ride together? I know some romantic sunset spots. Are you on any dating websites???"
