A message was left on our voice mail by some lady with an accent that tried to sound threatening as though she were some big city mobster. It said:  This last and final warning message  is intended for ---  . The very second you receive this message I need you or your attorney of record to return the call.  ...  My name is Nicole Smith ...
Don't disregard this message, return the call.  Now, --- if you don't return the calll and if i do not hear from you or your attorney ALL I CAN DO IS WISH YOU GOOD LUCK AS THE SITUATION UNFOLDS ON YOU.
That is a bravely stated threat over the phone.  I would love to have that "thug wanna be" issue it to me in person.

Here is the message received from this phone number.
"Good morning message is Jennifer with you cross you the very second you it's my business. I need you or your retained attorney of record to return the call. My name is Steve and I'm calling to offer through Alltel and you have received a complaint sheet which I've been filed against you so you need to give me a call back like now. Alright but give me a call back like now or be ready to be the coach, this is coach house "

I received a similar message from a "Alan Smith". He said that if I or my attorney don't return his call today or tomorrow, all he could do was "Wish me good luck".  When I called the 310 number back, the first time someone said "hello" then hung up, the second time no one answered, and the third time the phone was disconnected. This is a huge scam and the second time I have been contacted by a company like this. DON'T FALL FOR IT! Always, always, always ask for a debt verification letter.
