I received a call from 310-929-7761 at 7:15 pm on February 25, 2016.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," usually a sure sign of a telemarketer.  Don't legitimate businesses use their real name for their ID?  I would think do.  I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years.

Received a call last night around the same time as bob. Some company in California wanting to know if I wanted security on my house. I said, no thanks and hung up. Came home from work to see that they called again at 11:47 this morning. Another stupid, annoying company/individual that can't seem to understand "no thanks". Add it to your list of many calls to not answer.

They do not care that you're on the do not call list. They are people who are the scum of the earth that try to acquire your personal information and make it their duty to annoy the crap out of us by 1) changing their number constantly so they cannot be caught by the Feds, and 2) selling our number off to other jerk companies so they can annoy us even more. Best advice: if you don't recognize the number, don't answer the phone and, if you do make the mistake of answering the call as I did, then annoy the crap out of them when they call. It's kind of fun!

Guess who called again today. Wasn't around to answer the morons who couldn't listen to my kind "no thank you". And you're right. That's who it was that called, G.E. Security.  Like they're going to send someone from California because we don't have enough companies to handle it here. Just another new bunch of jerks, and that's putting it nicely! Block the number people!!
