STOP.

This is the same group of scammers that called yesterday from 509-537-0491 claiming the IRS is suing me (and all of you too I'm sure) using synthesized voice (because they aren't even in the US) technology. Don't answer numbers you don't know and delete their VM mssg. I cannot fathom anyone falling for this [***], but who knows. FYI, yesterday's call registered as Private Number on caller ID, today's was 0000000000.

This is a scam stating that the IRS is bringing a lawsuit against you.  The message states you need to call the number immediately.  The IRS does not call individuals with messages like this. If a person is really concerned, they should call the IRS directly, not the number given on this SCAM call.  A person can learn more about this scam, and others like it, on the Federal Trade Commission's web site:  www.ftc.gov.

They left a message on my answering machine claiming to be from the IRS and demanding money.  The message came from 213-141-5163 and mentioning to call back 310-905-3393.  Had I answered the phone, I would have given him a "piece of my mind".
