Best Deal Construction, Inc.
Agent John Jones calls 3/20/14 at 11:36 AM, offering construction work, saying he is with J & J Construction in my area. Caller ID# shown as 310-894-5127. This is a spoofed and fake number.
He falsely says I called them last year for an estimate. Jones gives me a website of www.jandjconstruction.com, which is not an active Domain. I check listings and find no J &J Construction in the state. Jones can't answer my questions about fake website, fake number, fake company name, and does not have CSLB#. He hands phone to another agent named Robert Freedman.
Freedman quickly says the real name of his company is Best Deal Construction, Inc. I ask for a call back number and he gives me 323-534-0979. He says their website www.BestDealConstruction.com is down as they are updating it, but the domain is not even registered, so he is lying. He hangs up on me.
After I call the Best Deal Construction company number 818-761-7617, found online at Better Business Bureau, and leave a voice mail, Freedman calls me right back. He still refuses to give me required company information. I ask him for three things: 1. Stop calling me. 2. Take my number off their telemarketing list, and confirm by mail or e-mail when that is done. 3. Send me a copy of their company administrative "Do Not Call" working policy. He agrees to send me all that info and hangs up. It has been a week and no mailing as promised.
Best Deal Construction, Inc. uses illegal, deceptive and devious telemarketing sales methods, and therefore cannot be trusted. Report this abusive action if they call you.
