My husband got a call like this yesterday but they also said he won two airline tickets worth $1600 dollars and they were sitting there with his name on them. He fell for it too and gave them our address!! I did stop him in short of giving out our debit card number. But what now? Kinda scary!

Person identified themself but did not catch the name of the company stating I was one of 250 participants to win x amount of dollars and eligiable to win x amount of dollars then I would get 4 magazines free and then they wanted us to pay x amount of dollars each week for one of the magazines.

I was on the phone and received an incoming call from this number. When I got off the phone I called them back and they answered with "Publishing Group", I then asked if someone called me from that number, and they asked for my name and number and said someone would call me back. But now that I see what kind of scheme this is I won't be answering when they call me back.

just got the same call. they asked if i wanted them to call back later to see if i had won. lol

Just reported them to the Do Not Call Registry & informed them of the same when I asked them to remove my number from their system & to stop the calls.
