Called, left no message-  the number is not  familiar and I have no idea who this is.  The caller ID said "Beverly Hill CA", no "s" in "Hills" so they spelled it wrong.  Being as most of the illicit calls I get show some sort of locational caller ID instead of a name I'm going to go with this being a bad guy and block their number.

The caller asked whether or not I had a merchant account.  (This is a business phone.)  I repeated the question, and she began to explain that she needed to tell me about some forthcoming increases and changes.  I thanked her and told her that I though I could manage those decisions myself.
The number is now blocked.

Got a call from this number. Caller-id read "Beverly Hls CA", when I answered it, there was no one there. Complete waste of time.

Received a call from this number minutes ago.  I answer this particular line with my last name (all of my vendors know this and know me).  This guy said "Hello, Morgan, may I speak to Payables."  Little puzzling because my company consists of just me.... there is no payables department, and all of my vendors know my fist name.  This gentlemen then explained to me in a condescending manner that he was with my merchant account and needed to speak the payables department.  Obviously a scam call since I don't have a direct merchant account (and have no use for one).  The guy (never gave me a name) started getting really rude and tried to tell me that there would be trouble with my mastercard/visa account unless he got to speak to my payables department.  At that point, I'd had enough and hung up on him.

This number comes through with caller id: BEVERLY HLS  CA
If you call the number back, you'll find it's not a valid number....must be a scam.
I've answered this number twice now, yesterday I heard talking in the background but no response to me answering.
Today they called again nothing...  They will be in for a little surprise if they actually try to ask for my payables department!
