Called and hung up on me, probably a scammer toner thing as I always call these people out when they call. The minute I ask for confirmation of who they are, they hang up.

I am not sure why you call them a scammer. Many things are bought over the phone.
When I worked at Comp USA I sold them to my customers, and they loved the savings. Check them out in BBB. Also you can see that other deals sell them too.
