Woman called me and said she was part of the "Publisher's Company" she said she was calling me long distance. Had a southern accent. Said I won 5 magazine subscriptions (big whoop!) for 3 years and when the 3 years were over the subscriptions would just automatically end. Said I also won a watch with diamonds in it that was on it's way to me in the mail and that I should get it within a week. I messed with her for a while. She said I might win a Mustang, a 25 grand kitchen makeover, a trip to California or 25 grand. She must have told me 10 times or more that I was selected by either my bank or a credit card company for being one of their favorite companies (yeah right!) I wish I had asked her what my bank's or credit card company name was. She was trying to be friendly and asked about what the weather was and if I would like to have a get away to a warmer climate. Then, at the end, the catch came. She asked me for my credit card number. I said "Um, no I don't do that over the phone" and hung up on her. Wish I had recorded the conversation for You Tube....Big scam! Watch out!
