This the outgoing caller id number that shows up for calls made from internal NG numbers you can't return the call using it.  If the caller doesn't leave a message you have no way of knowing who it was from other than someone at NG.

I had a missed call on my cell phone with this phone number....as I read through all of the posts here I discovered it was from a friend calling me from work, no scam, no nadda, just a friend.

Just missed a call from this number, and the guy left a message (message showed up while I was reading everyones posts).

Turns out it's now "owned" by Fortinet (they make kick [***] (in my opinion) firewalls), and it was a rep trying to get in touch with me about an upgrade I inquired about.

Guess that's the end of the NG hate :P
