Received two phone calls today (1 @ work & another on my cell), guy with very thick Indian accent named "David Jones" said he was with the Legal Avidavit Processing Unit with the Restitution Department of U.S. National Bank in California.  He proceeded to inform me that a payday cash loan that I applied for on the internet in '06 was never paid and started demanding payment immediately or I would have to go to court tomorrow at 1100am and then be charged with fraud, theft, etc.  He had ALL of my information.  He read the last 4 digits of my social security number to me.  That was a light bulb because normally you have to read it to them.  He had my bank account information.  I was also ordered to fax an apology letter to "Mark Brown" at (949) 743-5831.  I was suspicious from the very beginning and started asking questions like can I you fax the paperwork on the judgement that was against me.  This is when he started gettng forceful.  He said no.  I asked for his office address and he said he wasn't allowed to give it to me.  He then tried to tell me if I paid half of the original amount now and the rest later, it would be ok.  I told him I would call him back and hung up.  Then I went home and started searching on the internet.  These guys are frauds - do not believe them - do not send them ANY money!!!  I am going to my bank and asking there advice, and am also the credit bureaus.
