They're calling to give free estimates for home repairs - classic lying telemarketer.  When I told her that we were on the FTC Do Not Call Registry, and she needed to remove us from their lists and never call again, she asked me how recently I had checked to make sure we were still on the list.  Since this isn't my first rodeo, and she's not the first, or the hundredth telemarketer to try this line of crap on me, I informed her that we resubmit our number every month, and I check and verify it every month.  She also insisted it wasn't a line of crap, at which point I pointed out to her that each day a telemarketer makes that crap claim to me, so I'm quite certain to have checked it already when I make that claim, and that it is indeed an absolute lie and line of crap.  At which point, she hung up on me.  Reported them to the FTC, and fortunately, I was able to block the number through my phone company's blocking service.

thanks for the reports. I answered as I am expecting calls, she said my name, I said a curt "yes" and she hung up! block them!

The usual 4 or 5 rings and they hang up if nobody answers.   What a complete waste of time, money, technology and stupidity on the part of these fraudster telemarketer scammers.

This number keeps calling my house number but won't answer. Has called several times.

Called around 9am on a Sunday. I knew it was a telemarketer and didn't answer. The FCC is useless. I want to get rid of my land land.
