They call, when I answer, they hang up.  We are on the Do Not Call List!

I get these calls also... I don't usually answer calls on my cell phone from numbers I don't recognize.. but, my husband accidentally answered it one day.. they asked for me, and the girl was talking so fast, I stopped her and asked her what company was this, and she said "Publishers", and when I asked her how she got my number, she hung up... I thought that would end it, but got another call yesterday, which I did not answer... This is quite annoying!!!

In regards to my comment above, I went to the National Do Not Call Registry website and filed a complaint.  If we all do that, maybe, just maybe, the calls will eventually stop.

this lady called asked for my husband and then hung up.  we tried to call back and the phone would ring and ring... no one would answer.

I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AT WORK AND WHEN I SAID I COULDNT TALK RIGHT NOW THE CALLER SAID WHATEVER [***] AND HUNG UP
