Another one of those telephone scams threatening indictment or court action for treasury or tax BS. Barely speaks English!

Called from someone leaving message to make urgent call back regarding me and the U.S. Treasury. I did so. I spoke to an IRS (Indian dialect) representative who told me that I was delinquent in responding to two previous letters that were sent to me (one in 2014, the other in 2015) re: 2013 Federal Income Tax monies that were owed from a 1040 Joint Income Tax Return (actually citing the exact No. of the infraction). When I asked about my wife, I was informed that this only had to do with my portion of monies owed. The caller had my name and address, and told me I owed a little over $5,000. He told me a Crime Warrant had been filed, and that if I didn't take care of this immediately he would be notifying the police, and that I would be taken into custody and arrested, and be incarcerated for 6 months  ... even given he knew that I had no previous criminal record. He said that a call from my accountant was going to do nothing, given the matter was between ME and the US Treasury.

Keep getting calls from this # 310 363 7613...the foreigners on the other end sound like they are bunch of creeps claiming they are from the US Treasury.  This is a scam and do not verify your phone # with. That's how they get your information.  Thieves that's all they are
