Dean Kelly Charged with Forcible Rape of an Acquaintance

Yesterday, members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit arrested Dean Kelly, 39, wanted in connection with a forcible rape of a female acquaintance.  The offense occurred in November of 2010 in the 4000 block of Saint Charles Avenue

According to investigators, Kelly brought the victim to his residence and began to serve her alcoholic beverages at which time he subsequently sexually assaulted her.

Sex Crimes Detective Merrell Merricks conducted an investigation and identified Dean Kelly as the person responsible for the incident.  Detective Merricks can be reached at 658-5523.      

Kelly has prior arrests for disturbing the peace (2008, 1992, 1991), misrepresentation of name/age/address (2008) and warrants (1993).

Just so people are aware, Dean Kelly may not be an angel but the allegations are ridiculous.  I have heard from other students on campus that Dean had made a girl really mad and her sorority decided they were going to use the internet in attempt to get back at him.  That is why you will all notice that they are using anonymous scam and phone number sites in attempt to attack him.  This whole thing has gotten out of control.  I feel really bad that he has been falsely accused of this.  The girl read all the internet stuff and figured she had been dealing with some sort of predator....she naively believed, like many of you, that info written on a site that is anonymous is true.
RANDOM INFO THAT COULD BE POSTED BY ANYONE ON SILLY ANONYMOUS SCAM SITES SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS THE TRUTH.  It will be shown that the girl made false allegations and I hope she will be sued with slander.  For all of you who think that you will not be held responsible for all the fake info put on these sites, you are sadly wrong.  Presented with the proper legal documentation, it is a joke to get all your IP addresses.  Falsely reporting that someone raped you is a serious offense if proven.  
I am sure by the way I write you can see that I am not Dean trying to defend myself.  It just angers me when catty girls try to destroy someone because they have a grudge.  
So have fun making up lies and hiding behind a computer screen because you have no real evidence against Dean.  For all anyone knows, the people writing on the sites could be a small group of pathetic girls posting under different names (since you don't even need an email to post on most of these sites).  I find it very odd that someone keeps updating these sites every hour or so.  He/she seems a little to obsessed with destroying Dean by any means necessary.  Get your own life and stop trying to destroy Dean.  He may be guilty of texting obnoxiously and blowing girls off without a care, but that doesn't warrant what you girls have done.

Dean, and people brainwashed by dean write posts like the one above. He pretends to be other people to come to his defense, usually using the 'these girsl are all exes' excuse, or pretending to be a success story. this man is dangerous, and posts like the one he just left is not atypical for him. He doesnt realize that everyone is on to him and knows his schtick, and posts like that actually help the victims cases, showing his true insanity and sociopathy.
congrats on making bail dean, next time it wont be so easy. there is power in numbers. and with the amount of people youve victimized, raped, stole from.. you'll be put away for good in no time.
i urge everyone to report any misdoings by him to NOPD, you dont have to be from new orleans. he has done the same thing in new york, miami, dallas and los angeles. you arent alone.
every little bit helps to keep this maniac off of the streets, and is one step closer in preventing him for hurting otehres the way he has hurt us.
