Yes... me too.  IRS stated... funny thing is... I'm waiting on a huge refund from the IRS... ain't no way I owe the IRS.... they over taxed and I have a letter stating they are processing my refund.  Real scam... recorded haltering speech message.  The IRS will write you ... registered letter... the end.

This Middle Eastern person called saying he was with the office of Heather Grey who heads the  Investigation Division of the IRS saying that an audit was performed on my returns and that I owed almost $6k in back taxes. They use your phone number to identify you, not your SSN.  He first asked for the name of my attorney then he proceeded to read a from a script, in an attempt to scare me, saying that all of my assets would be seized, etc.   I proceeded to tell him that it was all BS.  I tried to call back and after a quick phone ID he promptly hung up on me.

Please keep reporting these people so no one else will be scammed.
