Received phone call from 310 127 8867  -  Informed me my computer needed upgrade and to be updated. Spoke with an accent, which I perceive is Indian or South-East Asia. Informed him that what he needed was a good talk with the police and he immediately hung up. I wonder why? :)

This probably is a spoofed number, as the prefix is 127. Unless my information is outdated, no telephone prefix in the USA begins with the number 1. The area code, 310, is for the Los Angeles, California area.

Received phone call from 310 127 8867 on November 26, 2014 at 11:16 AM  on east coast. Informed me my computer needed upgrade and to be updated. Spoke with an accent, which I perceive is Indian or South-East Asia. Informed him I was calling police and he immediately hung up.

Didn't answer.  No message left.
Annon is correct, no prefix/exchange in the US begins with a "1".  Obviously spoofed.  Likely a foreigner given the prefix screw-up.  Adding it to the blocker.

Got a call from same number 11-28-2014. Had a foreign accent wanted me to activate my computer to check for spyware and malware I just hung up
