Called and said his name was Jonathan. Was an American voice.  Trying to sell home security. I told him I was not interested and to remove me from their call list. Got very indignant and snippy with me after that. He then said to me " well since your spouse is not home let me give you the information etc. and we will send a representative to your home". I told him my spouse was home and we were not interested in home security and if he continued to call I would report him.  I then said to him..  So What are YOU going to do about it now????  I was hung up on.

After reading all the posts, I'm so glad I haven't answered - rule of thumb for name unavailable or "private" calls. I know that the danger of answering lets these types know they have a live number - why make it easy?
