Same as previous post: they let the phone ring 20 times which kicks on the answering machine (switched "off" to dodge the onslaught of scam calls) then the man with a thick Indian accent mumbles his name and says something about "failure to respond to this second attempt will result in appearance before magistrate-judge". He left the same number is the CID number as a callback number and insisted I call to "help us help you with this matter". It's complete BS but at least it's a change of pace from all the solar panel sales, Indian Viagra sales and contractors who are "in your area" calls that are coming in at an average of 7 per day. So...yeah. Yay?

Caller ID said "Hudson IL". Left a VM on my answering machine. Threat of arrest. "Alex Ferguson" from US Treasury enforcement. Sounded Indian to me. Second notice of a Federal Crime. Need to call them back to cooperate with them.

Same scan - US Treasury, call us back to help you! Indian guy hard to understand said his name was Alex Ferguson. Not likely! Sounds like a scam!

I received two consecutive calls within two hours, both from heavily accented party named "Alex Furguson" warning of federal court charges, each time repeating to call back at 309-726-4683. I hope this scam artist gets arrested asap!

Ignore this sorry scammer, everyone!
