"I received a phone call and 45 second voice message from you last evening. The caller ID name was just a repeat of your Peoria phone number… 309-533-7161, so I had no idea who was calling.
If you are going to conduct a survey, using robot-dialers, then please at least identify yourself in the name section of the recipients’ caller ID programs.
I realize that you are exempt from certain provisions of the "Do Not Call" list... but common courtesy, if not the law, should require you, a public official, to at least identify yourself.
This will allow me to decide if I want to stop in the middle of changing my grandson's [***] diaper, and discuss world events with you...at the taxpayer's expense!”

The caller ID name was just the phone number. If Politicians are going to conduct a survey, using robot-dialers, then they should at least be required to identify themselves in the name section of the caller ID program. I realize that they are exempt from the provisions of the "Do Not Call" list, but common courtesy, if not the law, should require them to identify themselves on my caller ID! I
