These people leave a message saying they have a " complaint " about me . They also reference a complaint # thought maybe debt collector but fortunately we have no debt. And I work in law enforcemwnt so I highly doubt if its a complaint

The recording said they had a complaint against me.  I called the number back & a lady answered "Mediation..." & I told her I'd received a call about a complaint.  She asked for my name & SSN.  I asked who she was & she wouldn't tell me.  When I wouldn't give her my info she said she'd "issue the summon "& hung up.

I received the same voicemail. I immediately returned the call.  The person who answered said I had a civil complain against me for an old debt in the amount of $2800..  I explained I had no debt in this amount to which she responded "it has obviously accrued a significant amount of interest".  I asked for the creditors name, she said "B&B Bank and it was a line of credit taken in 2005.  I kept pressing her for additional details because I have no such debt from that time, place or amount.  She just said all the details will be in the paperwork and I should expect my "summons" in the mail soon.  IF more details are in the paperwork, why couldn't she tell me on the phone? I was fairly convinced I was a victim of identify theft and frustrated that this was going to  wreak havoc on my life.... but something about this whole situation just didn't seem legit.  I think.. and HOPE that this is truly some sort of weird scam.  Just not sure what they are after.. since they didn't actually ask for any sort of payment on the phone call.  Should I expect a fake court document urging me to pay up before I have to go to court??

Received call from this number stating (to my Ex-Wife) that they had documents of a complain against her, and that she needed to call 888-508-3170 and provide the complaint # (provided in the recorded call) to resolve the issue.  Well, imagine that!!  I have been divorced from her since 1997...I haven't seen her or spoken to her since 2008.  If some scam whack-o wants to hook up with her, good luck to them.  I'm not going to bother returning their call, after all, it's not me they want.. And, besides, I don't know where the Ex is..

I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. Got the same complaint message as everyone else. Funny thing was that I got this same message two weeks ago form a different number in California. They gotta try harder next time if they want to scam me.
