someone called me and said they were from the sherrifs department and was trying to get me to donate money to the peace officers guild

Yea - just did. Dead air, no message - nothing.

Someone allegedly trying to collect for the Lion's Club. They asked for $35 and said they'd either mail a form out or send someone to our house. We declined.
