This came through as a text in the middle of the night at about 3:48 a.m. So unsettling to have my phone go off when I was in a deep peaceful sleep.

"Your entry in our drawing has WON you a free $1000 target gift card. Enter "###" at www.target.com.thtt.biz so we can ship it to you immeniately". Sounded like a scam to me, and what I'm reading here confirms that.
