I received several calls from this number claiming that they are the Post Office and that they have some letters for me. They want me to give them my information, they also speak Spanish. This is a scam!! DO NOT answer any of their questions.

same thing just happened to me today claiming he was from the post office saying they had a letter for me at the post office on 8 Street and 14 Ave., no such thing,  he had a heavy South American accent, he did not get very far with me, I asked to speak to a supervisor in English, he told me none were available, I laughed at him but he kept trying and gave me another no. to call so I told him to hold so I could do a conference call and he hung up on me, however, I managed to get my address out of him and he knew my first and last name also, I wonder what these people want and the same thing happened to my father a few months ago but I had forgotten about it.

My mother just received a phone call, I am going to take her to the post office, I guess they fooled her too but need for her to find out herself

Received a phone call from the same number that claimed to be the post office holding mail for my Mother. I was given an ID# and a local number to call and give them that number to verify that we would be here next day at a certain time to receive the delivery.
I research and maybe because I took a little time, the local number was "not receiving phone calls at this time" and the 305 number is a number that has been disconnected.

I got that call today with the same story he gave me a no. to call and claim my mail that was disconnected 305-225-5127 and when I put him on hold and told him I was doing a conference call he hung up and the no. was not a working no. as well as the one that called me that showed on the caller id which is (305) 981-4045, that no. is also disconnected, these people know what they are doing, one day not too long ago I got one that on the caller id it showed my OWN no., you can imagine my surprise and I answered it and it was one of these scams and saw on the news one day that they can do that, this guy knew both my name and address I wonder what the hell do they want.
