I found out this number is legitimate...sorry to waste your time. When I checked the area code and saw that is was being used for scam I jumped to a conclusion that turned out to be false. Thank you and again sorry.

Every phone number which is compliant with the North American Numbering Plan is "legitimate". What matters is how the carrier account assigned to a number is used, and whether the number has been spoofed.
