have been calling for days and won't leave a message. When they called today I pressed 1, and then cut off the lady talking and asked if they will give be credit if I am being foreclosed on (not really happening, but I might as well make entertainment out of their nuisance) she said she would have to look at my credit first. So I proceeded to tell her that I just got parolled and it might take me a while to clean it up do to my work-release only letting me out supervised to work (no shopping). She hung up, and I'm pretty sure they won't call back.

Final chance to lower your credit card rates... our number is on the Federal Do Not Call List.  These folks are obviously in violation.

I've been getting calls from these scammers for months. Here's the deal. They are using a caller ID spoofing device or service so there is NO way to find out who they are short of doing a call trace like the *57 feature with Verizon. But here's the kicker (aside from Verizon charging you a dollar every time you use the trace feature). The phone company will not reveal the result of the trace to you. They'll only reveal it to a law enforcement agency. Yeah, the phone company will protect the privacy of the scammer but not you.

The "Do Not Call" list with the FCC works great with legitimate telemarketers, not with these guys. According to the woman I spoke to in the Verizon Unlawful Call department many of these calls don't even originate in the US. They are coming from phone banks in Jamaica and Costa Rica.

Can you believe in this age of 9/11 paranoia that it is NOT illegal to fake your caller ID? Hell, some phone companies even offer the scammers the service that ALLOWS them to fake the ID.

i've been getting calls from this number too, no one there.  I also get calls from a recording telling me that we need to discuss my credit card.  May not be from this phone number though.    I am non the no call list  and am reporting the 305-757-1069 number

Says Miami, FL on my caller ID.  Have been getting automated calls from random numbers about locking in a credit card rate.  Third call in as many days, this time with this 305-757-1069 number on the ID.  Getting sick of it, and I'm on the DoNotCall list.
