claimed they were lee county police collecting contributions foe kids

Called on Sunday. I don't trust any of these "Police Charities" since most are SCAMS!

They called saying they were raising money for drug abuse prevention in Miami-Dade County.  I asked if they had a website.  They gave me an address for the county with no backslash.  I thought that was very odd.  I visited the website and there was nothing about either fund raising or drug abuse prevention.  This felt like a scammer fishing call in every way.

They called and asked for someone we did not know and I said no one here by that name.  The guy said ok well call at a later time.  At a later time the phone number will be blocked.

Person does not speak when I answer the call.
