Also received a call from this number. It was a timeshare sales ploy. They rattled off a company name (Island Resorts or something like that- probably fake). Caller asked for a specific name so they knew we already had a Timeshare. (as I am a co-owner) and claimed that we bought and have not used a $500 vacation several years ago.
Caller immediately went into the spiel of how they are authorized to apply the credit to a $629 package that includes.......Disney, several nights in Orlando etc etc.... When he started reading from the script he sounded like a robot. Would not or did not hear me interrupt.
When he took a breath and heard me say "Really? Really? I don't recall buying any vacation", He hung up !!
I don't understand why this industry continously uses these tactics! I've also received many hang ups as descrbed above. These come from Florida numbers but also all over the U.S. including Texas.
