Rec'vd this call numerous days....they never leave a message.  Caller id says Florida.    I finally answered the phone.  Of course it took 30 seconds to you actually hear a voice.  India accent man and says his name is John...calling about texting something ...hard to understand him.  I told him that we are on the DNC, Do not call list...and Legal telemarketers would not call...only Illegal scammers would call - told him I'm now going to report him to DNC....and never call my number again.
Folks, if this is legit and says about texting...wouldn't I get a text or from the cell phone ...not the home phone.  Wish it was illegal for telemarketing....none.  There should be a federal law.

Received call from (305) 478-9921. Since I did not recognize the number I did not answer. They left no message on the answering machine.
I never answer the phone out of curiosity and I never ever, waste my time telling telemarketers that I am on the "do not call list", simply because THEY DO NOT CARE.
Just ignore the call, block it if you can, and go on with your life.

A foreigner was on the other line. Told us that our computer was hacked by two guys (Thomas Dimitri, and Russel Blake.. lies). Wanted us to open command prompt, and that his company is called "Tech Support Geek." Definitely a scam. We do not even live in Miami. If anything, HE was the hacker trying to coerce me into opening command prompt and typing in his prompts so he could put a virus or something on it.

In general, I don't answer my phone unless I know the number. However, sometimes, I do break down and pick up the phone. In this case, it was these scammers. They have called so many times in the past and each time they call about "my windows operating system" (I don't own a windows machine), I immediately tell them to stop calling. I call them thieves and tell them that I will report them which I have many times, but the US government doesn't seem to do much about this.  Over the last year, these Indians (or Pakistanis - sound very similar) have become so aggressive, they cuss at me in their dialect, they are rude; I'll just say that they have a lot of guts. I wish someone would bust these idiots and take care of them once and for all. OH, and if you try to call the number back, it is a non working cell phone number.
