left message stating their name Donna with CARTER LANES OFFICE call 888-528-4224. then at the end of the message she states " We have some great news for you today" then hangs up.

Keep getting calls from this number and two other similar numbers on my CELL PHONE.  I don't know how these bogus companies got my cell phone number.  The other numbers from which I receive calls (215-665-1380 and 313-277-2695) are said to be fake/scam collection agencies.  I want to know how they got my cell phone number in the first place.  I do NOT give that out to anyone except for personal contacts.  All others get my home phone, which I kept a very basic service for the purpose of not wanting to receive calls like this on my cell.

Just reported this number to the FTC.  I suggest everyone else does the same.  If you have registered your phone with donotcall.gov, you can file a report through that site.

"Florida" showed up on my caller id. I didn't answer.

They called looking for a "Loran" who doesn't live here. They asked again are you sure you don't know this person and my response was no I do not know this person. They asked how long I have had my number and I stated for several years. They would not tell me what kind of business they were running. I did tell them I am on the do not call registery and they should not call back. They have not, but it has only been a day.
