I got the same thing. From 702.847.0477.  I am unsure of what the scam is but I closed my PayPal account.  It seems like he must have a way to get into it from those 4 prices of information, plus they started charging me to pay people.  I will stick to apple pay

I posted my husbands motorcycle for sale and got a reply from a Sholey Evans. See below. He's still up to his schemes. Thank goodness I went with my gut feeling to not share information. Never again!

This is the exact same message I received. Do not fall for this scam. I am selling a Harley Davidson and got the exact same email as all of you. I just hope other that are smart enough to check something like this out before even responding. Someone who is will to pay a large some for an item unseen with absolutely no negotiations or even proof the item exist should be something questionable. When you search the name Sholey Evans on Google and the name pops up well there's your answer it not his first rodeo.  By the way I got a 702 area code for his number just a FYI

Same here, but # was 619-720-4819, said his name is Mason. 619 is San Diego area. My ad's in Dallas - immediate red flag. I don't do emails anymore because of this kind of crap.

this guy is trying to scam me from my go fund me post saying he wants to send me a check to be deposited into my bank account only so it can have a 24hr clearance he claimed to be a minister at a church and his secretary would send me the check for 250.00  he only wanted to txt me after I emailed him , he txted me from a 1-912-385-4265 phone number
