This number called at 6:48 AM PDST. They claimed to be the IRS and that I was in BIG trouble, owing a lot of money and would be facing jail. I did not answer, but let it got to voice mail. HOWEVER, I was so FURIOUS to be woken at such a ridiculous hour, that I called them back & gave them a drubbing for calling so **** early! I also told them NEVER to call my number again. I do not owe the IRS anything and I am also intelligent enough to know that the IRS does not make phone call for this kind of matter & they would NOT be using a person with a limited grasp of the English Language!
So for anyone else who gets a call from this number, or any other calls making this kind of threatening call, this is a SCAM. Do NOT fall for it. You can also go the IRS website and report it.

I have gotten these calls repeatedly, even from Texas.  The IRS will send you a letter if you messed your taxes up, not a phone call.  Even then I'm resistant too follow since all this is fake news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number 4054071240 say I owe IRS and charges were filed against me and would be facing jail time. I do not owe IRS and they do not call you. They also are blocking their number to were it shows unknown.
